The Doors fue una banda de rock estadounidense, formada en Los Ángeles (California), en julio del año 1965 y disuelta en el año 1973. Junto a Jefferson Airplane, Grateful Dead, The Beatles y Pink Floyd, se convirtió en uno de los máximos exponentes de la psicodelia de los años 60. El grupo es considerado uno de los más influyentes en la historia del rock, y ha sido descrito como "una de las bandas más innovadoras y poderosas en la historia del rock"
